The Opportunity

We’re looking for a Service Designer who’s more than just a designer — someone who can think like a consultant, work like a builder, and thrive in a fast-moving entrepreneurial environment. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys wearing multiple hats: designing, facilitating, strategizing, and rolling up their sleeves to make things happen.

What You’ll Do

  • Partner with client and internal teams to design end-to-end experiences that transform how organizations deliver value, particularly in an artificial intelligent environment
  • Lead or support service design activities including journey mapping, service blueprints, experience prototyping, and opportunity framing.
  • Translate research and insights into actionable strategies, roadmaps, and service concepts.
  • Facilitate collaborative workshops that align cross-functional teams and clients.
  • Act as a strategic consultant — advising clients, facilitating workshops, and helping teams align around a shared vision.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional disciplines (business strategists, applied data, emerging technology, experience management, etc.) both within our firm, partners, and client organizations.
  • Move fluidly between high-level thinking and hands-on doing — from shaping vision decks to building MVPs and operational processes.
  • Contribute to shaping our young firm’s culture, tools, and methodologies as we grow.

What We’re Looking For

  • Service design expertise: Experience designing services or experiences at a systems level, not just user interfaces.
  • Consulting mindset: Comfort advising clients, structuring problems, and communicating clearly with executives.
  • Highly organized: Adaptively manage timelines, stakeholder communication, and deliverables.
  • Builder mentality: Willingness to get hands dirty and help build — whether that’s a new service model or internal processes.
  • Strong collaboration skills: Ability to work effectively across functions and levels — internally and with client teams.
  • Entrepreneurial spirit: Comfortable with ambiguity, fast pivots, and shaping things that don’t yet exist.
  • Excellent communication, facilitation, and storytelling skills.
  • 5+ years of relevant experience in service design, experience strategy, or consulting (agency or in-house).

Nice to Have

  • Experience in early-stage companies, startups, or innovation teams.
  • Familiarity with adjacent disciplines (e.g., data products, AI strategy, experience management).
