POSITION OVERVIEW

Acquis Consulting Group is seeking a senior leader to join its Coupa practice and help continue its rapid growth.  Direct experience managing complex Coupa implementation and teams of people is necessary.  Account management / oversight and business development experience within the P2P software landscape is strongly preferred.  Experience integrating business spend management technologies with HR, ERP, and financial applications is a plus.  Other preferred qualifications includes strong client facilitation and the desire to mentor junior team resources.  Applicants should be looking to make their mark and help drive the rapid growth of this exciting, collaborative team.

 

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES FOR SENIOR PROJECT MANAGER 

  • Accountable for the success of a client account team, forging strong partnerships with clients and colleagues, ensuring project success, and leading account expansion activities
  • Manage client expectations and experience in a way that results in high client satisfaction
  • Lead all aspects of implementation from mobilization to deployment and support
  • Lead process discussions for leading and/or best practices
  • Engage clients in enlightened business requirement discussions versus feature/function basics
  • Provide technical and functional expertise to clients throughout the project lifecycle
  • Create and/or improve implementation plans, templates, training guides, presentations and other deliverables or accelerators
  • Follow a standard project implementation methodology for all clients and tailor to meet each client's unique business requirements
  • Provide mentorship to project team members and colleagues where needed
  • Work well in both individual and team settings both on and off-site
  • Contribute beyond client delivery with practice development, knowledge transfer, operational improvement, recruiting and sales

 

QUALIFICATIONS FOR SENIOR PROJECT MANAGER 

  • Experience with Source to Pay processes and implementations
  • 10+ years' experience in systems applications consulting, either internally or externally with a consulting firm or software providers
  • Candidates should have extremely strong client management skills and be able to work with customers to execute an implementation plan that works towards a rapid, successful go live
  • Experience in designing, facilitating setup and configuration, and managing implementation of one or more modules (e.g. Procurement, Payables, Expenses, Supplier Information Management, Sourcing, Contract Lifecycle Management, Analytics, Inventory)
  • Previous senior consulting experience with the following applications is a solid predictor of success: Ariba, Coupa, Ivalua, Zycus, Basware, or ERP-specific Supply Chain Management module(s)
  • Experience configuring and delivering software demonstrations is preferred
  • Must be able to work in a fast paced and passionate environment
  • Manage clients where up to 25% of your time may include travel
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to think from a big picture perspective
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to foster an environment of collaboration and excellence
  • Ability to manage resources and deliver work products on time and with exceptional quality in a remote work environment
  • Strong oral and written communication skills, including presentation skills (MS Visio, MS PowerPoint)
  • Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills with the ability to exercise mature judgment
  • Bachelor's degree (or higher)

SALARY:
Actual compensation is influenced by many factors including individual skill set, experience, specific office location, and qualifications. For positions located in New York City only, the range of starting pay for this role is $135k-$225k. This role may also be eligible for a discretionary bonus or performance-based incentives.
